Letter, 1795 November 6.

Letter to Nathaniel Lawrence, New York State Attorney General regarding a confidential matter. Bailey requests Lawrence to come to Poughkeepsie to discuss the matter as he did not "think it prudent to commit [it] to paper." Bailey then goes on to discuss the various routes of travel Lawrence might take to get to Poughkeepsie. Written at Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
